With years of experience in the Arctic wilderness, I’ve dedicated my life to creating meaningful, authentic experiences for our guests. I grew up in crisis regions around the world due to my father’s peacekeeping work, and perhaps that’s why Lapland — the quietest, safest, most magical place on Earth — means so much to me today. Now, I want to share that feeling with every person who joins our adventures.
I’m a trained chef by profession, and in my free time I’m usually found fishing, photographing nature, or playing guitar by the fire. Wilderness has always been my element, and guiding allows me to bring together everything I love: nature, stories, good food, and unforgettable moments.
My goal is simple — to show you the real Lapland, the way locals experience it.
Tim – Lead Guide & Photographer
My name is Tim, and I’m originally from Germany. After spending the past years traveling through North America and working as a wilderness guide in Canada, I decided to settle in Finland and continue my journey as an Arctic Tour Guide and Photographer.
The wilderness is where I feel most at home. I genuinely enjoy working with people, and guiding is far more than a job to me — it’s a passion. I love sharing stories around the bonfire, teaching practical skills for the northern climate, and helping guests truly understand what life in the Arctic is all about.
Your safety, comfort, and wellbeing are always my top priorities. And of all the moments on a tour, my favourite is seeing someone witness the Northern Lights for the very first time. I’m also known for keeping the atmosphere light with humour and good conversation, making sure every experience is smooth, memorable, and enjoyable from start to finish.
