Activity-Specific Questions

Do I need a driver’s license to join a snowmobile safari?

Yes, to operate a snowmobile in Finland, you must hold a valid driver’s license. Passengers (including children) can join as riders behind the driver or in a sled pulled by the guide.

What should I wear for winter activities?

Dress in layers: thermal base layers, a warm mid-layer, and an outer shell. We provide thermal overalls, boots, gloves, and helmets where needed (e.g. for snowmobiling and northern lights tours). Avoid cotton and wear wool or synthetic fabrics.

Are your tours suitable for children?

Many of our tours are family-friendly. We offer reindeer experiences, short snowshoe walks, and gentle northern lights tours that are perfect for kids. Age restrictions may apply for some tours (like snowmobiles).

Northern Lights Questions

What are the chances of seeing the northern lights?

Levi is an excellent location for aurora spotting, especially from September to April. While the lights are a natural phenomenon and can’t be guaranteed, we monitor real-time forecasts and take you to the best spots possible on the night of your tour.

Can we take photos of the aurora borealis?

Absolutely! Our guides are happy to assist with photography. We also offer dedicated photography tours where you can learn to capture the lights with your own camera or smartphone.

What is your cancellation policy?

You can cancel most tours free of charge up to 24 hours before departure. For private or custom bookings, different terms may apply. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions page for full details.

Do you operate in bad weather?
